notifications scheme

i have made a custom notification scheme but i am not receiving the notifications as per the same.

for eg- on event issue commented: i have set a user to be notified but no such mail is being sent...

please help me out.

Which user have you set to be notified about the comment? The one that actually dropped the comment?


Please, be aware that by default, JIRA does not notify users about their own changes. You can have that changed in you personal user profile.



i'm trying to use this option but no notification is being sent to this user. what should i do?
