I'm trying to add global fields to a JPD project, there are no contexts set on the custom fields, however single user user picker fields do not show, while multi users do show.

Anyone else running into this issue? Is it a bug or just not available yet (although that would be odd considering multi users are available!)

Hi @Prashant Topiwala ,

After testing, I don't think single user picker fields are supported with JPD global fields at this time.

I've entered a feature request with engineering to support this field type. No ETA on when that might be added, so the workaround for the time being would be to use a global multiple user picker field, or a custom people field within the project - which I understand only supports the multiple user option at this time.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Hopefully this can be resolved soon as the functionality between multi user and single user is similar but not the same and for many of our fields we want a single user to be identified via a global field (Ie. Executive Sponsor)

I have to assume since JPD people fields are only multi-user at this time, that's why JPD global fields only offer this option as well. But as you mentioned, hopefully this is something considered in the future.
