Hi,
As I am setting up JDP as our portfolio of project, I am adding features we are already been working on. In most case, I can easily link an Epic or more from a project.
I am just facing an issue where I have to link 20+ Epics (Complete, Backlog or In Progress) to an ongoing JDP Idea.
In my case, it's a whole Jira Software project that I want to attach to the idea. I see no way of easily doing so. It would be great in the option of adding a delivery ticket, that you could link multiple epics at the time (search and check) or all of the Epics.
I do what @Erin Mihalik suggested. Unfortunately, JPD only calculates Delivery progress two level down from the top parent ticket.
@Tanguy Crusson please consider changig how deep progress calculation should look into. IMO it could be configured based on the Hierarchy levlels.
E.g. in the caso of a Jira instance with Hierarchy levlels Saga-Super Epic-Epic-Story-Subtasks the user would be able to select that Saga-Super Epic-Epic-Story should be the basis of Delivery progress calculation.
Of course there are some details to figure out. Reach me out if you want to have a chat. ;)
I have simply created one Initiative project/issue type that is an intermediate repository for tracking work and linking all the relevant Epics into Initiative -- Initiative is linked with an idea.
