Delete Ideas without Administrator role

Hey guys, please help me with this. We starting to use JPD and PM's and GPM's are configurated by Creators. The description of Creator is "Creator is a licensed user with product access to Jira Product Discovery. Can use all available features of Jira Product Discovery". But the DELETE option doesn't appear for them and forces me to give them a Administrator role - which is a big problem because I don't want they can delete fields, change project access or add new options to fields because this crashs my automations. This is a big big problem to me. It's impossible that delete option be a Admin function. Please help me.

Hi Ka, you can create a custom project role for that:

You can then add the "delete ideas" permission to this role, and grant this role to people.

For that last part, you can either give them the role one by one, or create a custom group in the Directory in admin.atlassian.com. Then add the "jira-product-discovery-users-xxx" group to it. Finally, add that group by to the project and give it access to the custom project role.

--> every creator will be able to delete ideas.

Alternatively, you can just ask users to "archive" ideas (this option is there by default), and a project admin can clean up/delete archived ideas every once in a while
