We have a workflow for our discovery projects that help our team but not a workflow that allows the user to understand a status and when they comment, there isn't an easy way for us to make sure we are not missing their comments.
Our current workflow is
In Progress, ready to start, needs approval, requirements gathering , new project, cancelled and done.
When I user makes a comment on the main discovery "key" we might get a notice, but we can't create a queue or report to make sure we age answering those questions.
I tried researching and there are some that say you can use an advance scripting tool to pull comments out but I'm not sure how to do that. I'm thinking some sort of automation or another status that changes when comments are made?? Do you have suggestions?
Hi @RSavage_stellarindustrial_com ,
An automation like that is certainly possible. Could be as simple as something like this:
^ Basically any time a comment is added, the idea would be transitioned into the "Comment Review" status, but the status selected in your automation could adhere to your workflow.
You could then create a view in your JPD project for only the ideas that are in this status for better visibility:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
