×Hi,
We are in the process of implementing JPD in our Product Management organization and use your Jira Product Discovery Handbook as useful insight into how we should set it up.
We have a question about the Stage vs Status field.
Deafult setup JPD Project is with a Workflow giving us these statuses: Parking Lot, Discovery, Ready for delivery, delivery, Impact and Done.
But we would like to use the stages JPD is using: (Not started), Wonder, Explore, Make and Impact, (Done).
Is Stage used in addition to status by JPD teams?
I am struggling to see the benefit of having this as two seperate "workflows".
Do anyone have any useful insights here for us? :)
Br, Kathrine
Hi @Kathrine Lønning, I can't speak for the JPD team, but if the stages is all you need, I would recommend to customize the workflow and change the workflow states to the stages.
The #1 rule is to always keep it as simple as possible. If you are wondering whether additional complexity is required or not, the answer is usually no.
Thanks for the reminder. ;) I think you are right. We should anyway start simple and see if we are missing something.
