JPD how to create a list view for all ideas within a specific date range?

Brendan Byers July 29, 2024

I'm trying to create a list view in Jira Product Discovery that filters ideas between two specific dates.

I can easily do this with a timeline view:

But I cannot figure out how to create a list view with the exact same criteria.

The other option I'm pondering would setting up an Automation to add a label reflecting the appropriate Fiscal Quarter depending on the Project Start and Target dates, and to use those label to create the views I need if there isn't an easier solution.

Hi @Brendan Byers

thanks for your question.

You can achieve this by using a filter on Project Start date and Project Target date.

Please see screenshots below.

Do let us know if this helps. :)

Not quite unfortunately.

My team wants to see all ideas being worked on between two specific fixed dates.
So they want a Q2 view that shows everything between April 1st and June 30th and ideally want to refer back to this view later on in the year.

The relative dates would require monthly maintenance to ensure the view remains accurate as far as I understand.

I assume this is the only option currently available?

Thank you.
