I don't seem to get email notifications for anything to do with JPD.
I have set up notifications in JPD and as the Project Lead have double checked that they are set to go to that role.
I have looked in my spam, then only email I seem to get from that email address is when a linked issue on Jira is resolved but nothing else and all of the notification events are on.
I get email notifications from our main Jira project and I have checked my personal notification settings and nothing looks like it should block them.
I really need them to see when new ideas get added by our team so they can be triaged.
I'm stuck, what am I doing wrong?

Seems you have checked many of the obvious causes for missing notifications.
Your email address could be getting blocked on the Atlassian side, so please work with your Jira Site Admin to ping the Atlassian Support team here to have them check: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
