Hi there,
We are now facing an issue which is that too many themes of our platform is managed inside 1 discovery project, with too many list and too many people in there.
We were guessing if that would be possible to create a new discovery project on making a copy of parameters on an other one, as it is for other projects in Jira.
Best,
David
Hi @David Spire , @Jonathan Hau is right we do not support this yet but it's definitely something we plan to do: being able to create a project by copying the configuration of another project. Today unfortunately you'll have to recreate this configuration manually...
The method Jonathan describes should work fine to export/import ideas however it won't import insights if you use them. You can also simply use the bulk issue editing tool that's accessible from Filters > advanced issue search > ... > bulk edit - so you can move ideas to another project. HOWEVER that doesn't move insights added to the ideas yet (including votes which I know you've been using). if you want to move ideas including insights/votes we'll have to get to it first.
I don't think they have a duplicate project functionality yet. But, you can try to export all of your issues using Advanced Issue Search (then download CSV). Then do a mass import of all your items.
Important thing to note: You'll need to rebuild all of your customized fields in your new project, because there isn't currently a way to build a new JPD project using the same fields from another JPD project.

It's important to rebuild your fields first because you won't be able to map your fields correctly without those fields first being recreated in your new JPD project!
