Discovery private view vs shared view

Hi,

We're working on a Discovery board with a team, and while there's an option to build lists with specific filter and sorting options, these get edited or customized by team members all the time causing the initial user's filter set up for a list to be altered.

It would be great if there could be an option to create these lists and set them as either 'private view' or 'shared view', so that each user can create views for their own personal use and to check their own statuses.

I can't speak for @Simon van Kesteren but this is a good stopgap. However, I think at some point private views and/or private sections would be useful so as not to clutter up the left-hand pane where everything is listed out. Along with a permission for who the view/section is shared with.
