Date format as per Year and Financial Year

Hello Friends

Greetings

I have to track fiancial details and projections of a product.The use case is as follows .I have created 'Financial Year'  field

1) How to show the FY for Year 1, Year-2,Year-3 respectively OR Alternatively

2) In a Date picker field how to capture only YEAR or Only Month etc. (it shows D/M/Q)

Hi @PMSupport ,

Unfortunately JPD date-fields do not support years at this time. As you've discovered, they are only represented by days, months or quarters at this time.

Closest thing I can think of would be to represent a 'Financial Year' through two date-fields.

You could then create a timeline view for each 'Financial Year' - and select the corresponding fields/dates (which relate to the two date-fields mentioned above).

Might look something like this:

Not sure if this is important as well - but JPD date fields are formatted in a range - so they would parse something like this in payload of an idea:

  • Day: {"start":"2024-11-19","end":"2024-11-19"}
  • Month: {"start":"2024-11-01","end":"2024-11-30"}
  • Quarter: {"start":"2024-10-01","end":"2024-12-31"}
