October 2023: New Home screen reveal for Jira Mobile

The home screen is going full couture for iOS and Android. You spoke and we listened.

New look and better upfront information

You told us it was difficult to scan the home screen because it was text-heavy, so we made it clearer.

Customisable Quick access

You told us the old version, which showed recently visited boards, projects, and filters, didn’t help you find the work you needed. Now, you can customise your Home tab for quick access to the things you need most.

Expanded functionality; Recent Issues is now Recent Items

Recent items will show a broader range of places you’ve just visited, including issues, projects, boards, filters and queues.

Edit Quick access to add work directly to your home screen, for access-on-the-go. You can add up to 6 items.

If you need to move between sites, no problem! At the top of the screen near your profile picture you'll find a handy site switcher to take you straight to the workspace that needs your attention.

Coming soon: a search bar, to help you access any piece of work in just one tap.

@Elizabeth Nixon is not possible on the first iteration, but it will be in the next. We are currently working on it :)

@Asmath Basha S simply look for Jira Cloud on the Play Store. The new Home tab is being rolled out to Android during these weeks.
