How can I use the Jira Slack app to only send notifications when mentioned in a ticket

Hey there!

The goal is to only receive notifications for tickets I am involved with and mentioned in. However, with the Jira Cloud Slack app and the options provided in the settings, it does not appear that this is possible.

How can I achieve this? Is this a feature in other Jira Slack apps but not the official Jira Cloud one?

Welcome to Atlassian community.

You are correct to say that the default JIRA x Slack integration does not provide notifications on mentions, however, some partners have developed plugins which extended the integration to achieve this option.
