java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect-socket timeout using Java for Jira REST API

We are trying to fetch data from Jira using Java and Jira rest API.

Code connects to Jira and pulls data successfully sometimes but sporadically we face socket connection timeout issue.

 

This happens only when using the rest API through Java code. The same API call returns data from Postman and browser.

 Can someone help me in finding the exact root cause of the issue and the solution for this.

Did you get any answer to this?  I am facing the same issue.

Getting response in Postman and browser but no response rest assured java code. Getting below error
