Copy field2 from field1 anytime field1 is updated.

Currently I have configured to Post functions to copy values from a customfield1 to customfield2 while creating a ticket. What I really need now is to automatically update customfield2 anytime customfield1 is updated…

Both are "date picker" fields

Any idea?

 I do not have Automation and I have no experience with scriptrunner/Listener yet.

@jamila.augustine  You would not need Scripting experience to make this happen but you would need a add-on for sure for this to happen in Jira. 

Automation for Jira is a add-on which you could use to get this done, you can do it with out any scripting using the add-on.  Below is the link for the add-on

@Bharath Kumar Kappala : Thanks but I am looking for a solution which does not involve purchasing additional add-ons. 

As we already have Scriptrunner, I would appreciate some inputs on how to use it ..
