Challenge: Procurement Management Solution
We're looking to develop a solution to enhance our procurement team's efficiency by managing assets, providers, manufacturers, and contracts effectively.
This tool should:
- Provide comprehensive lists of assets, providers, manufacturers, and contracts.
- Enable easy connections between these lists (e.g., find all assets under a contract).
- Allow for aggregating values (e.g., total asset value in a contract).
- Include permission controls for editing and viewing, especially contract values.
We're exploring at least the following two approaches:
- Using an "assets" feature.
- Creating four issue types and using linking features.
Automation should be straightforward, allowing easy control over trigger fields and relationships.
