From Stories, I am trying to edit ANY field in this one story, and I am not able to edit anything. I receive this error: Forbidden Resource can not be accessed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @Ann Bouvier
Sounds like a permissions error. You should talk to an administrator if you're not one, and ask about the permission you have. You may be able to view, but not edit stories. Are you a member of the team?
@Tim Keyes can probably offer some assistance on this also.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
BJ
Hi @BJ Miller
Thank you for the mention.
Hi @Ann Bouvier
I would agree with BJ that issues such as this are typically permission related, but given your current role and system access I would attribute this to a data issue.
Knowing if this impacts your ability to edit all stories or only particular ones then a screenshot of the issue occurring with console logs on the screen would be the next step for us to review this issue. You can access the console logs in Google Chrome by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of your browser > More Tools > Developer Tools > Console.
Ideally we would work through this over a support ticket. Please let us know if you would like us to create a ticket on your behalf or if you would like to submit one.
Cheers!
Tim

Hello,
I am in the midst of updating my EPICs in Jira Align. I have been making good progress, but suddenly I found that a few of my EPICs that were previously created a couple of months ago, I am unable to edit. I receive a "Forbidden Resource Cannot Be Accessed" message. These few epics are no different in terms of permissions and access from what I have been able to edit and update so far. Can someone help me with this?

I had the same issue and found out why this is happening. The simple answer is you cant copy and paste into that text box from somewhere else. You have to manually type in your text.
It then works. :) happy planning.
