Standard set of Jira Align Checklists

The Training Simulations are amazing for learning the tool.  But was wondering if there are any standard set of Checklists available either by role, level or topic?  It would help re-inventing a list of relevant actions or steps to be taken by the various roles.

Hey @Tanvi_Patel - I'm a Solutions Architect with Jira Align.  I have created a template of checklists that go through the life cycle of the PI and by role.  I have shared these with the other SAs as well.  Is there a SA that you are currently working with or even a TAM?  If you are and let me know who they are, I can get it to them and they can share with you.  It's in an excel file or I would share here.

Thanks @Rae Gibbs, really appreciate it. My TAM is Wanda Marginean and SA is Chris Spanner.

@Tanvi_Patel I will reach out to them today.  I know @Chris Spanner and will try to catch him before he is done for the day since he's 6 hours ahead of me.

@Tanvi_Patel I reached out to @Chris Spanner a little while ago and shared the info with him.  Hope they are along the lines of what you were looking for!

@Rae Gibbs could you add these checklists to my TAM through @Puja Rathi  or @Mark Cruth

Hey @Jenina Halitsky ! Mark or Puja should be able to take care of that for you. They have access to the master location and could upload it to your TAM space.

@Rae Gibbs - Can you also please share this with our TAM - @Steve Sauser

Hi @Tanvi_Patel,

I agree with you about the training simulations. They are excellent.

With respect to checklists, there are currently no set of standard checklists for a very good reason - each company has its own set of processes and approaches to using Align in concert with the framework or agile method they are using (and have customized).

In addition, the checklists use company-specific terminology when they are created, whereas the training simulations use Align/industry-standard terminology. In my 4+ years of implementing Align, I consistently see client's having difficulty doing the mental translation from company-speak to industry-standard, so it makes sense to not provide pre-built checklists which would then need to be rebuilt to each client's specific terminology.

That being said, I would love to see a set of SAFe-specific checklists out of the box. Any chance of that happening, @Shawn Kessler?

Regards,
Peter

I also think this could be useful. I will touch base with a few of the SAs for input and see if we can get this added to the backlog. Thanks.

Hey Shawn - I created something a while back and shared with the SAs.  I've got it on our Google Drive.  I'll send it over to you.

Thanks @Peter Jessen I understand the checklist themselves will be company specific, however a guideline of key topics based on SAFe would be really useful.

Thank you both - @Shawn Kessler and @Rae Gibbs

@Tanvi_Patel I have seen the standard checklist (in Excel form) that @Rae Gibbs created, and I think this is exactly what you are looking for. She will provide to your SA/TAM so that they can review with you. Good luck!
