Portfolio intake form

Edited

Hello,

 We have an existing Portfolio Epic intake form and LBC form, we would like to modify the form and use it going fwd. We have created a new form from the existing form and made necessary changes. The issue is, if we switch from existing form to new form in Portfolio, the data filled in the old forms is going away. How do we start using the new form for existing portfolios without losing the data?

Thank you.

@reddy

The information does not transfer between intake forms.  You will need to reenter the information from the old form, into the new one to carry it forward.   Unfortunately, the intake table information is not included in the export form either.

@Tina Behers  Got it, thank you for your input.

I have another que on a diff context -

There are 6 states for the Feature worktype. We've looked at the final Accepted where it's done manually. What about the remaining 1 through 4 states. Do they get updated automatically based on children stories? Or does every state requires manual updating?

@Reddy - The feature will be set to In Progress when the first story under it is set to In Progress.  That's the only time the state will be updated.  It needs to be manually set otherwise.
