I have an Jira epic who's priority is set to "critical", the epic showing ups in Jira Align with all fields except priority. It is defaulting to "Not Set". The sync is set from Jira to Jira Align. The state mapping is correct.
@Gyanendra K Gupta I came across this similar post around the Priority field. Does this help answer your question? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Align-questions/Jira-Align-is-Priority-meant-to-be-an-option-for-Features/qaq-p/1178452
No Tom, It seems like we need a product enhancement for this. The priorities areonly mapped for Defects at this time.

I have raised the same defect with Atlassian and have created an ideation on how to synchronise the priority field at the Epic and Story Level. Priority Mapping is only on the defect level. I see Puja R has raised the same idea.

I agree this is a basic requirement when onboarding new teams as they may have used this to help to deduce their prioritisation in Jira and when synchronised you need to manually to do this again.
