We want to make it easier for our teams to indicate if a dependency is needed on a shared services teams (legal, compliance, marketing, etc) during planning by creating open dependencies for each deliverable and just asking teams to confirm/estimate the need. It's a lot of clicking otherwise!
I can't find a way to do this (I see uploads for other record types from a sheet or API). Any suggestions? or ideas?
As far as I know, there's no easy way to bulk-create dependencies in Jira Align.
One way I could think of this is by using is to have a script/automation to call JA APIs to create the dependencies, however, this would require scripting skills.
Thanks. The API doesn't look like it supports dependencies either, but also thought of asking our QA team about a click-automation (RPA type solution).
LMK if I'm wrong about the API and it does support dependency creation.

You're correct, it seems the Dependency endpoints are still not available to the JA customers at this moment, and unfortunately, I'm not aware if this is in the Product team's short-term backlog.
