Any kind of link I click on opens a new tab in a new window on Chrome's New Tab page.
Doesn't matter what it is: hyperlinks, URLs, menu dropdowns (including Help -> Provide feedback ironically), download image... whatever I click on in Hipchat just opens a blank tab in a new window.
I'm on macOS 10.13.2 running Hipchat v 4.30.1.749
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Updated to macOS 10.13.3 and the issue seems to have been fixed. Still running Hipchat v 4.30.1.749
Thanks very much for the suggestion! I thought it was up to date but it turns out it wasn't.
Now on Chrome Version 64.0.3282.167 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Issue is at least temporarily fixed. I'll try to remember to update this if it stays fixed.
Cheers!

Same here, MacOS 10.13.3, HipChat 4.30.1.749. Thought I was on the latest Chrome, but it was pending a re-launch. That made the error go away.

I have the same Issue, restarting can fix it temporarily and but it comes back. Updating the OS does not fix it.
MacOS: 10.13.3 (17D47)
