HipChat Server -- does it rely on enso.me?

From what I can tell, enso.me is used by Atlassian's cloud version of hipchat.  

Is that also true for self-hosted HipChat server?

Is there no way that the self-hosted server can use video chat without internet access?

Hi Aaron,

HipChat Server builds 2.0.5+ can opt-in to Atlassian's new hosted video service which is currently accessible via enso.me. That service is based on Jitsi Meet, an open source acquisition made some time ago:

Naturally Jitsi Meet can be deployed fully on premise but that's not a supported HipChat Server integration at this time.
