Fisheye Oracle Database Version compatibility

David Ford November 6, 2019

Currently I have the FishEye database on and Oracle 12 server. Oracle 12 is now in extended support and we're migrating everything to Oracle 19 but have some Oracle 18 servers as well.

The documentation looks to say that the only version of Oracle database supported is Oracle 12. Is this the case or can I move it safely to Oracle 18 / Oracle 19 (18 should be safe as it's pretty much 12 with lipstick and a new hairdo, but I know have had to make some changes for some applications)

Many thanks,

David

Hi @David Ford ,

for the latest Fisheye version, only Oracle 12c is supported as mentionned here : https://confluence.atlassian.com/fisheye/supported-platforms-960155252.html.

You can probably migrate to Oracle 18, but if you run into any issues then the Atlassian support will be unable to assist you, as the Supported Platforms page does not list Oracle 18 as compatible.

Basically, it's for you to check if it's ok not having access to support if you have any issues.

Let me know if this helps,
