FishEye linkers won't work in Crucible comments

I set up some FishEye Linkers in order to create links to our independent bug tracking database. The linkers were created for all repositories. Now the desired links appear in commit messages inside FishEye but they still not present in any text fields of our Crucible reviews, i.e. not in the title, the objectives or in any of the review comments. The same is for pre-commit and post-commit reviews, no difference. They do not appear in new comments (created after the Linkers has been set) nor in brand new reviews.

Can anyone have  a suggestion on how to make FishEye linkers work in Curcible reviews?

Hi Bálint,

The repository Linkers are actually designed to work for repositories only, i.e. as you mentioned they will be applied to the repository, but not to a Crucible project and the reviews within it. For reference, you may check at the Linkers document.

Crucible, however, offers the possibility of using wiki markup in comments and objectives (not in title), so that could be a way of creating links in your comments. For a reference on the markup that can be used, please refer to Using Wiki Markup in Crucible.

Hi Gustavo, Thank you for the explanation. Now it made up another question in my mind: can I, in some way, achieve the same or at least a similar result in Crucible? Maybe with an own Crucible plugin, or by defining new macros for the wiki markup? I found this article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/writing-user-macros-4485.html but it is about creating macros in Confluence. Does this apply to Crucible also?
