Does Atlassian put Crucible in "Maintenance" mode ?

I've just been told by a guy from SmartBear Collaborator that Crucible has been pushed in Maintenance mode by Atlassian so there is no plan for future improvements other than fixes.

Is this true ?  Or just a very bad sales pitch ?

They told me that they are now an Atlassian Partner.
