Disallowing Comment Edits

The problem:  One of the reviewers continually edits his comments against code, often completely changing the meaning/intent of the comment.

To prevent this, I would like to disallow editing of comments one they have been made.  Ideally, this would be granular to the user level, but I am willing to accept the project level.

I looked through the different permission options, but did not find anything obvious.   Is there an easy way to do this?

I'm afraid it is not possible at the moment.  There is an open issue for new feature which seems similar to what you want to achieve: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CRUC-4832.  Feel free to vote on it and watch it, add a comment perhaps explaining your expectations.

If we see a lot of interest from other customers on such feature we will attempt to prioritise it and deliver requested functionality, as explained in https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DEV/Implementation+of+New+Features+Policy
