We had a great conversation that would be beneficial to anyone evaluating how Cloud Enterprise meets their security needs. Here’s a collection of the most common questions and a few we didn’t get to live. Anything we missed? Ask us in the comments below!

Besides security, how else are customers using multi-instance?	In addition to the data isolation and admin use cases, customers often use multi-instance to: control app costs, as you can subscribe to apps separately per instance and control user access accordingly. If only a specific business unit needs access to an expensive app, you won’t have to pay for it across all of your users if you set up your instances accordingly customize each instance environment to the business requirements or needs of the teams who use it - for example, making a specific set of of project configurations only available to certain instances. This gives teams the freedom to work independently, while still having aligned ways of working.
Using multi-instance, can you share or search tickets across instances?	You can share issues and pages across different instances. For security purposes, search will yield information at an instance level, not the organization level.
Does the product requests feature also apply to apps?	At this time, product requests prevent your managed accounts from signing up for a product at www.atlassian.com and is available on Cloud Enterprise for Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. You can manage requests for Marketplace apps using this process.
Can you speak more to Atlassian’s overall compliance strategy? Does Atlassian Cloud adhere to the compliance standards that regulated industries need?	Atlassian Cloud meets many regional and industry-specific compliance standards like HIPAA, plus EBA and BaFin which are only available on Cloud Enterprise.
