I'm currently exploring possibilities for integrating AWS CodePipeline with Jira's Deployments feature[1][2][3]. From the beginning, it's clear that AWS CodePipeline is not an officially-supported tool; meaning: I can't just sign in with my AWS account, and enable it, but rather I need to integrate it myself using Atlassian's APIs.

While doing the integration myself isn't a problem, discovering how to do so while navigating through official documentation has been incredibly painful. Different pages have almost the same text, but none are complete or have end-to-end examples; most OAauth-related documentation only mention OAuth 3LO, and this API seem to require 2LO, which doesn't seem to be documented nor supported by official libraries.

Is it possible to provide an working example of how to create a deployment using such APIs?

Thanks,

Irio.
