Our company is a user of Jira Server products.
We are considering moving to Jira Cloud or Data Center solutions. In the course of studying the features of migration, we had a number of questions that we would like to clarify.
Could you help us with these questions?
1.Nowaday our company uses a package of licenses for 2000 people, and we predict growth to 3000 by 2024.
We are interested in the exact set of products included in the standard plan (Standard Plan) over 2000 licenses for Cloud and Data Center solutions.
We noticed that DC does not have a perpetual license. So, we are interested what will happen if, after our annual subscription expires in case we decide we decide not to renew the license of DC. Will we be able to work with our projects in this case, get access to the data or how it works?
@Анастасия Маслова Welcome to the Atlassian community
Just like on server you will need to purchase a subscription for each of the Jira products that you would like to use. If you have Jira Software and Jira Service Management you will need to buy each one of those in either solution.
On DC when the subscription expires Atlassian's states "To continue using your Data Center subscription after your annual subscription expires, you must renew your subscription." Data center used to be in a read only state after the license expired but that might no longer be the case as all I could find was the information above. Since you host DC you would still be able to access all the data on the Database.
