Hi @Aneesh Sreedharan ,
Thanks for posting your question here, I am Dhiren from the Exalate Team.
Can you please describe your exact use-case for this integration?
Exalate, provides a fully bi-directional synchronization between GitHub and Jira (among other ITSM systems) that is fully customizable. It is easy to set up and Exalate uses a scripting engine which is based on Groovy scripts for ultimate flexibility and customization.
Thanks, Dhiren
There are multiple integration tools available to integrate Jira Enterprise Data Centre with GitHubEnterprise Cloud. Depending on what all you are looking to integrate and what scale, sync tools can be divided in following categories:
OpsHub, an Atlassian partner and a certified integration tool, can help you integrate GitHub issues and history of development, like Commit Information, Pull Request, etc., to a Jira project. You can look at the demo video to learn how OpsHub Integration Manager facilitates bidirectional integration between GitHub and Jira. Also, you can read our exclusive guide on Jira GitHub integration.
Thanks,
Brad

@mention and thanks to everyone at Confleunce, Cloud, Bitbucket, Datacenter, Server, Trello, all aspects of Jira, Atlas, and every group that I'm a part of, all the people who have helped me! You guys are awesome.

Sorry, I didn't get you. I'm new to Jira world. My question is whether we can integrate Jira Data Center with GitHub cloud.

Don't worry @Aneesh Sreedharan and @Craig Nodwell. The Mia Paulin account has been posting similar incoherent nonsense across many groups for a while.
If you'd like a good laugh, read through some of the account's recent posts.

Hi @Aneesh Sreedharan you can set this up via the DVCS connections under Applications in your admin settings.

@Craig Nodwell Even if you can get github inegrations in the marketplace or as a third party app, Jira has it's own Bitbucket integration as a Jira instance-it's literally a part of Atlassian. Its a Jira/Atlas "product" you can choose from. It's not a 3rd party app or one made by debelopers for use on the market place as an integration to add on to Jira. It's actually part of Jira. You can configure instances like all the other Jira applications, so there is no need. And, depending on other instances, you can link them together because most instances on the tlassian portal give you that option.

@Mia Paulin
I didn't suggest a 3rd party app.
I know bitbucket is an Atlassian product.
I've been working with Atlassian products since 2005.
The question on the ticket was about GitHub and Jira Data Center
This is my answer:
Yes you can do that easily via the DVCS connector in the Applications Settings in the Administration Module of Jira Data Center.
Here is a page describing the process.

@Craig Nodwell Thanks a lot for the response and sharing the procedure.
In fact, I did search in Google, but I couldn't find a solution for Jira Data center and GitHub cloud integration. I could see only Jira Cloud with GitHub Cloud integration. So I raised in this group.
Thanks again.

@Craig Nodwell To make it clear, I'm using Jira Enterprise Data Center-V8.7.1 and GitHub Enterprise Cloud. Hope no difference in the procedure for GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

Suggest upgrading Jira DC to a supported version, 9.4x
After that the DVCS connection should be an option.

I agree to the suggestion to upgrade, however it is not necessary for this to work.

Hello,
JIRA DC can be integrated via plug-ins from Gitcracken and / or Jigit.
These are in the Atlassian Marketplace.
To clarify, the integration in the GitHub MarketPlace is fron Atlassian for JIRA Cloud.
For GitHub, the subscription model I am referencing is Enterprise Managed Users (EMU).
