If someone leaves the team and we remove their activation status on JIRA, will we get to keep all of their previous tickets in JIRA for documentation / record keeping?

There are two options:
1. To delete a user. You should not delete users.
2. To deactivate a user. You should deactivate users. In this case you will see all user tickets and history and the user will be marked as inactive.
