I cannot login via crowd.mydomain.net/crowd/console when VM's security group that blocks All IPs & ports except my office area.
Please, someone advise me.
Thank you.
* I'm using crowd by self-hosted way.
* When i open all IP & port, it works fine.
Which version of Crowd are you using? Any errors reported in the logs.
If you are using a Crowd version older than 3.0.0, you need to make sure that the url Crowd console uses for authentication calls (which is defined in the crowd.properties file, as 'crowd.server.url') can be reached by Crowd.
Crowd versions 3.0.0 and newer don't use the crowd.properties file any more, and don't make remote authentication calls from the Crowd Console, so if you're using an older version, an upgrade might resolve the issue as well.
Oh, really? I'm using 2.8.0,
and "crowd.server.url" in crowd.properties is set as "crowd.server.url=http\://localhost\:8095/crowd/services/".
If so, how do i check it can be reached?
