I'm trying to set up Crowd to set up single sign-on for Jira and Confluence.
I've got the documentation,
It says:
It is recommended that you import your Confluence users into an Internal Directory that has its 'Password Encryption' set to ' ATLASSIAN-SHA1'. Otherwise, users' passwords will not be copied across to Crowd.
However, when I create a new Directory, there's no choice for ATLASSIAN-SHA1 . There is a choice for ATLASSIAN-SECURITY - is that the same thing?
If not, how do I get the ATLASSIAN-SHA1 choice?
Also, is it possible to change the password encryption setting after a directory has been created?
ATLASSIAN-SECURITY has effectively superceded ATLASSIAN-SHA1. I'm going to run through and update the documentation where it's out of date, but if at any point you're directed to select ATLASSIAN-SHA1 and the only option is ATLASSIAN-SECURITY, that's what to go for.
Hope this helps!
I am in the similar situtation. But the drop downlist is empty for me. I don't see any choice, neither ATLASSIAN-SHA1 nor ATLASSIAN-SECURITY. What should I do?
