unable to move a page in one particular space. Cannot even drag the page.

Have you already tried renaming the page before moving it?

No I didn't.. I am going to try it tomorrow. but in case if that doesn't work, is there any other thing that I can try.

Confluence was reindexed just  a day before when this problem came.

I asked the user to rename the destination folder and after that the move completed successfully.

That page never moved to another page in the same space so I dont know shy its saying that page already exist ?

It's not saying anything about moving, it's saying there is a page in the target space already called "Project List".  Try renaming the source page before moving again.

Nic: "Project List" does exist at the target but there is no Project List in the Source.. and thats why I was puzzled why it would compare the folder in target and destination when it doesnt even exist in one of the locations.

Yes these are in the same space.. user is trying to move "Reports run day after close" to /under Project list.

Mmm, the error message seems to be for space to space move, so I think it's the wrong one.

Correct.. and this message was generated at the time when I attempted the move.. I even tried to drag the page and got the same error in the log.
