×Today I've noticed that "inline links" are no longer working (and neither are "card" links)
As far as I can tell there are two types of links:
When you create a link to a confluence page (a 'confluence link'), it gives you three options as a small hover menu when clicking the link:
When you create an "external link" it just creates a link similar to the "URL" option, and doesn't give the option to change to inline or card.
So the problem i'm having, is that when pasting confluence links: they get created as URL links with display text = to the page description, but when I try to make them inline or card, there's a spinny/hourglass waiting icon that eventually just times out, and it reverts to an external link (no option to go inline/card) and it removes the display text
When editing existing pages, it's doing the same thing: all the inline links change to text go in to "thinking" mode with a waiting icon next to them, eventually that times out, and they revert to external links as above.
Wondering if this is happening for anyone else? Otherwise ill raise a ticket. One thing i can think of is that I was changing some page titles today: I had two pages with the same name "watermarks (2)" and "watermarks"... i changed "watermarks" to "watermarks functional requirements" and changed "watermarks (2)" to just "watermarks"... So although still not violating the "two pages can't have same name" rule, maybe this has confused the indexing or something because I know the original name is always retained as the actual URL? But the problem appears for all links... and is still happening after i changed those page names back to how they were.
OK nevermind it's working again :) Maybe was related to indexing issue i introduced but its reindexed now?
Also just visiting existing pages with inline links (not even editing) will show the hourglass/spinny thing at the left of the inline link and then eventually just display the text external link (URL only with no display text)
