permission setting for bulk insert accounts

Dear Support Team, 

Is there plugin or alternative way or sql language which we can apply to insert individual account permission setting as shown as below? We have 50-60 ldap accounts permission for one space , we try find suggestion for the problem to quickly finish it. Our confluence version is 4.2.1, we can not setup local group for ldap accounts use.

Hi Anderson,

Are the individual account permissions unique? Best practice is to group users with the same permissions together. If you cannot add LDAP members to local groups in your version, perhaps the LDAP admins will let you create the groups in the external directory.

User management has changed somewhat since Confluence 4.2.1. That version reached end of life status some time ago. Please follow Upgrading Confluence to plan and implement your upgrade when you get a chance.

If we also can not add group in LDAP, I can add group in confluence , but I can not add ldap members into confluence group in confluence 4.2.1

What does it mean of LDAP admins will let you create groups in the external directory? Thanks a lot.
