Are there plans at atlassian to improve the blog and micro blog support in confluence?

We are currently evaluating software for blogs and micro blogs to be used in our company network and would prefer a integrated solution.

During a search session a few weeks ago I found a forum post on altlassian activities to improve blog functionality in Confluence. I missed to bookmark it and cannot find it anymore.

What we are lokking for is some of the common social community features. like

  • blogs
  • microblogs
  • having a overview to see the latest blogs
  • etc.

Are there plans or is it already in ?
