I have set a date, when the date has passed, how to alert the user to update
Set an expiration date for any page or page tree with the Better Content Archiving app:

If you need to set notifications to any content on Confluence pages, you can try our Handy Reminder. It’s a part of the Handy Macros for Confluence app.
Handy Reminder is a tool for setting reminders by custom criteria. You can decide what users or user groups should get notifications, how often and when the message will be sent, what text of the notification will work better, etc.
Your users will get the notification via email and Confluence workbox. Please see the image below for details:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
If you have set a date using the "action" macro and you have also mention the user, then this user is able to view all his/her assignments/tasks by going on his avatar and then "Tasks":
Sending a reminder about these tasks is not support out of the box. Here's a link for you to vote and watch for updates https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-35150.
