Hi @Nadia Helena Gama Ribeiro de Louredo and @Kristian Klima

If you want to edit office files like Word, PowerPoint, Excel or even OpenOffice files (like .ODT, .ODS, .ODP) attached to Confluence pages you can use the Office Editor app. You can embed the files for full preview in pages and edit them online. Check here:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1233074/office-editor-for-confluence-edit-excel-word-powerpoint?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

If you want to edit attached PDF documents, then, you can install this PDF Editor App, it works as Office Editor app, but for PDFs. You can embed and edit them online. More details here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1236405/pdf-editor-macro-embed-for-confluence-sign-annotate?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Both apps are free.

I hope it solves the problem. :)

@Nelson Pereira Thanks for providing specifif links to address specific tile types. I'm generally aware of the apps - but not knowing what files we're talking about, or even the cloud/DC situation, I suggested looking at the marketplace in general :)

Hi @Nadia Helena Gama Ribeiro de Louredo and welcome to the Community.

If you attach a file as a file - it appears as an icon on your Confluence page and on the page's attachment list, you can't.

Depending on what kind of file it is, you may find an app in the Atlassian Marketplace that would allow you to edit specific files.

Having said that, if the file is stored elsewhere, for example you have a Google spreadsheet that lives on a Google drive, you can display the file's contents on the page using an iframe macro. With a proper permission setup, you will be able to make changes to that file from Confluence.
