Can I change the font size within a document without changing its funtion?  I don't want to change that it is a paragraph element.  I would like it to remain as a paragraph entry in the document but change the font to be larger or smaller.

That is not directly possible.

You have to do that as you would do in a html document:

  • Put some kind of element (b, span, div...) around that text
  • Define the format for that element; use the PDF Export Stylesheet for PDF and/or the CSS macro for the wiki page itself
