Why is one of my users getting a "Cannot find file" error when he tries to open a file link?

One of my users specifically gets errors when he tries to open a link on a page, but only on his computer. When I sign in to his account on my computer, it opens the file just fine. His computer tells him that the file cannot be found and then shows the link that the file should be located at where the document would normally show on the screen. He has permissions to view the page and the file lists, so I'm not sure what's going on at this point.

A few things you could try:

1. Ensure the user's browser is the newest version.

2. Try a different browser.

Hi there,

Can you show us an example of the message he is getting in a screenshot? What browser is he replicating this in? Does it happen for more than one browser?
