Why did the Automation for Jira user appear in the project?

Hi @Svitlana Rekhalska,

The Automation for Jira user is an app account and need access to the project in order to run automations in it. You can learn more about automations here.

Thank you for your reply! But this is only observed in a number of automation projects. I would like to know which automation adds this user to the project?

You can always go to Project settings > Automation to find the rules set up for the project. It could also be a global automation that you can find if you go to Settings > System > Global automation
