From this - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-38256 - Task It seems that Confluence Server 5.9 will have the Documentation deprecated. For more information on the Cloud version, you can take a look at this Cloud announcement, which will be pointing it to happen in a couple months: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/Cloud/2015/07/13/Announcement%3A+Some+Confluence+features+are+going+away.
