I've stumbled across a strange issue.
When I link to a page from 2017 in Confluence cloud the link looks like this .atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FS/pages/195076817
But other pages that are newer (created in 2020) the links look like this .atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FD/pages/751272246/Page+Name
The page that ends without a page name is created using the old editor. But when I imported a space from Confluence server, where the pages are edited with the old editor. I linked to one of those pages and it looks like this
.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IM/pages/1340112899/Gif+image
I can't seem to figure out what causes some links to end up with a page name and some without.
Dear @Seth Petersson ,
it depends on an internal algorithm of Atlassian. I tries to keep the URL in a human readable form, but when certain criterias are hit, the ID is shown, only.
Afaik, you cannot influence this behavior.
Have a look at this article for a brief explenation.
So long
Thomas
