Users invited to edit a page, cannot edit the page

Sydnee Roberts-Crews June 4, 2024

I have a team space for my team, but none of them can edit pages. I invited them to edit a specific page within the team space, but they all received an error message. I'm not sure how to solve this issue.

Can anyone help me figure this out? This would help me tremendously and cut down on my workload.

@Sydnee Roberts-Crews If you're not sure how to proceed based on @Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM's response:

  1. In the Space, open Space settings > Space permissions.
  2. Add individual users on the Users tab or a group the users all belong to in the Group tab.
  3. Give the users/group the permissions you want them to have once they are added to the tab.

Thanks, @Barbara Szczesniak , but when I try to use your instructions, my Space permissions only gives me the option to Add people to all spaces. I can't just add people to my team space in the space permissions section of settings. Is this an admin thing possibly?

@Sydnee Roberts-Crews If you select Edit above the list of current users (on Users tab), you get a Search for internal users box below the list where you can search for and add individual users.

@Barbara Szczesniak bless you! I kept clicking edit but never scrolled to the bottom to see the search :face-palm:.

Thank you!!!

You're very welcome, @Sydnee Roberts-Crews I never had to do this, since we're still on the Free plan, and I'm basically the only user. That's the point of this community, though—we're all here to help and learn from each other.

Did you add them to the space?

Sydnee Roberts-Crews June 5, 2024

Are there multiple ways to add to a space? I tried @Barbara Szczesniak suggestion below but it doesn't give me the option to just add people to my team space. I've added them to the team but for some reason its not letting them into the space.
