The versioning of documents in not possible any more

Hi, 

We use confluence with documents (PDF/Word) in pages. In the previous version you could click on a document and change the document directly and upload it to have the new version present (with the option to go to the previous version). 

We cannot do this with the new page style anymore. How can we make this work again?

Yes, but this is not possible from the file preview itself any more?
