System Error Has Occurred When Setting Up Confluence on Win2K8 Server

Cara Rozelle July 10, 2012

A system error has occurred — our apologies!

Please ask your Confluence administrator to create a support issue on Atlassian's support system at http://support.atlassian.com with the following information:

1.a description of your problem and what you were doing at the time it occurred

2.a copy of the error and system information found below

3.a copy of the application logs (if possible).

Your Confluence administrator can use the support request form to create a support ticket which will include this information.

We will respond as promptly as possible.

Thank you!

this happened several times during the day, attempting several different setups. Last one at 4:30pm - 4:33pm. I have uploaded the Log files.

Hello Cara

I believe that you already solved the problem but anyway there's a tip:

When something like that occurs you can access the atlassian-confluence.log and try to find the last start of confluence ("starting confluence" string). After that keep scrolling down until you find an ERROR or FATAL line.

When you do, you can copy that line and paste it on confluence.atlassian.com to search for a solution.

If you don't succeed in your research, don't worry.

Open a ticket on http://support.atlassian.com and let us help you. :)
