Search engine in the exported HTML

Hi guys,

When I include a macro like livesearch in my space, and I export the space

the result contains a Search field that doesnt work... :(

Is it possible to get it work?

I would like to produce a HTML stand alone documentation including a Search feature to navigate into it

Do you have a solution ?

@Laurent PYTEL This isn't really possible without custom development.

The trouble here is that you would need to create a client-side JavaScript search index for your HTML export and then point the livesearch macro to the client-side search index.

This is something that I've done previously for a large multinational, but not something that I've productised or made available for others.

I will investigate a few more on the web if I can find something ready to generate a search index and a JS search engine based on it...

Also, if you have the need and the budget, it's very achievable.
