Dear support,
After a restart of our confluence server, we are no longer able to logon to confluence with our accounts. When we try to logon, we receive the message: Sorry, an error occurred trying to log you in. Please try again later. This is also the case for our admin users.
We still have some articles on Confluence server that we need to migrate. Could you help us to get back in?
Regards,
Menno Dubbelman.
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You are going to need to ask your admins what is wrong. My guess is that the Confluence server has been reconfigured for some reason - specifically the user ID system it was using has been disconnected or misconfigured. It could also be that that ID system is offline, unreachable, or has been reconfigured. Could be as simple as Confluence cannot log into it any more.
However, the place to start is the logs. When you get this login error, it will be writing the reasons into <confluence home>/logs/atlassian-confluence.log . Your server admins need to read that to find the reasons.
Dear community,
Sorry, thought I was addressing support. If anyone in the community has an answer, please feel free to respond.
